new control panel on l&l

Hi all,

I have been meaning to report that I bought a new control panel for my
circa 1987 L&L J236 this winter and I am SO PLEASED. The panel cost
me now about the same as the kiln cost then and it is worth every penny.

I knew the panel was poorly designed but until I got the new one I didn't
know how very much better it could be. Spaciously arranged (so that you
don't mess stuff up just trying to get in there to work) and far
sturdier, it is
another cosmos entirely.

I have taped 2-4" little cheap fans on the top facing down so that the pane=
l
stays very cool throughout.

Never even dreamed that it would be possible to buy an entirely new panel,
but once the thought came it was irresistible and was so glad it was possib=
le
to do.

Best,

Eleanora

The L&L controller panel is the best design available. I work on ever=3D
y brand of=3D20
kiln, and many are good, but the L&L is great. Everything is easily a=3D
ccessible,=3D20
making it the fastest and safest one to work on.
