We are looking for innovative and self-directed clay workers to fill
two-year technical studio assistant positions. We welcome applications from
hand builders, sculptors, and wheel-oriented clay workers. Applicants musst
be experienced in clay studio management ( Kiln loading, firing, glaze
mixing, etc.). Callanwolde students must have completed the =3DB3Studio
Procedures=3DB2 course.
Assistants are required to work six hours per week for the program, and in
return receive studio space, 24-hr. access, free firings, clay discount, an=
=3D
d
the opportunity to participate in special events (workshops and sales).
Group critiques are scheduled on a regular basis.
This opportunity is designed for those who desire pre-professional training=
=3D
,
or who choose to develop portfolios in anticipation of graduate-level
academic pursuits.
