Rhode Island School of Design has 3 Blaauw kilns. The Archie Bray =3D
Foudation has a 108 cubic foot Blaauw car kiln.

Larry Bush at RSDI and Steven Lee from The Bray could answer your =3D
question about the fibre, but why not write Blaauw and ask the source?

According to their site:
"The inside of our kilns is usually made of ultra light constructions =3D
and
materials. In some cases we have to use heavier constructions, such as
brick-laid constructions and/or precast insulating concrete =3D
constructions.
In general each wall consists of one piece and is easy to replace."
When I was looking at one at NCECA I didn't see any fiber.
