Worx is a brand name owned by a Chinese company, Positech Industrial Co,
Ltd. They also own the rights to the Rockwell name. Unlike some Chinese
companies that seek only to make low cost junk, Positech seems to be trying
hard to make quality products. The company has been in business for about
8 years. The founder of the company is a physicist, and they have
developed a number of innovative designs. I am guessing that the weed
whacker will be just as good as anything else the big box stores sell.
Enjoy your new tool.

For my birthday I am getting a weed whacker with a battery. A brand I =3D
never ever heard of before is "featured" at two box stores.
As I can find nothing ABOUT this manufacturer or brand on the =3D
Internet--I appeal to you all. Anyone heard of them? Used a product?

Yes, I own and use a battery powered WORX weed whacker.
Had gas powered one - hated the noise and mixing/using fuel.
Did lots of research on battery operated ones, settled on the WORX brand.
Been using for 3 years - works for me.
