A while back I was making up some terra sig
and needed to siphon off the good stuff from
the not-good-stuff. Not having any flexible
tubing to suit I grabbed three drinking straws
with the flexible sections in them and taped
them together end-to-end with packing tape.
Worked great.
Since then I have used this improvised tool
to siphon off extra water from a bucket of
glaze and off the top of a bucket of slop.
This simple tool has just become a staple
in my studio that I never knew I needed.
