A Labor Day Weekend Happening with Randy Brodnax and Don Ellis, September 1=
, 2, & 3, 2012 in Mack Colorado, located about 20 miles west of Grand Junct=
ion Colorado.
Another opportunity to learn from the huge amount of ceramic experiences of=
Randy Broadnax and Don Ellis. Witness one of the best mud slinging interac=
tuibs betweeb two people. Laugh, enjoy, and enhance your clay career all at=
the same time.
For those who have attended their workshop at Bullseye Studio in the past, =
you know what it means when we talk about a bodacious good learning happeni=
ng. For you who have not attended before, you will be in for a treat that =
will impact your vision for how you approach your work. Count on good stori=
es, good times, and good food.
Weather permitting, we will be firing the glow worm kiln. Firings will incl=
ude firing techniques that Don and Randy have perfected over the course of =
their careers. It is highly suggested that you bring 8 to 12 bisque ware pi=
eces that can be fired to cone 10 and open bodied enough to handle thermal =
shock for probable Raku firing. A good open clay body is Soldate 30 or 60.
The cost for this workshop in beautiful Mack Colorado is $300.00. A 50% dep=
osit is required by August 15, 2012 to reserve your spot. Camping and showe=
rs are available. Motels are located in Fruita Colorado. Lunches are provid=
ed.
