A friend and I booked our airline tickets for NCECA in December when
there was a sale price too good to pass up. At the time there were no
pre-conference workshops mentioned. Now, we're hearing about all these
great workshops pre-conference at the last possible minute - this is just
one example. How about for future years, those planning to offer
workshops get the ball rolling sooner so some of us who buy early can put
it in our plans!!!

To annoy you further, want to remind folks that in addition to
the workshops at TWU (sorry, Mel et al, that's Texas Woman's
University) there is Jack Troy's workshop at Univ. North Texas
from Sunday through Tuesday, with reception for Ceramics USA
at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday; Jack will give a gallery talk then.
Those in to Ft. Worth in time on Tuesday more than welcome to
come up for various and sundry clay exhibits Tuesday aft and eve.
Actually, I believe this particular workshop was announced as
long ago as October. But maybe not loudly.
