I am to be firing several electric kilns and also have a pugmill in an
enclosed detached wood shed approximately 20'x 25' with insulation and
gabled 8-10' ceiling. I am wanting vent it out on the top (above 8' level)
of the back wall- opposite the entry door and a window- to operate (while
kilns fire only ,as there is air conditioning )otherwise which I do not
plan to use when firing and I will not work along side firing kilns.
My question is what resolution would anyone recommend as I previously used
vents with holes drilled in lower kilns with ducting to a box with assembly
to withdraw fumes outside. In a previous studio, found that did nothing to
reduce room temperature and had to put a 4' fan outside one door leaving
other door open and still measured 100 degrees inside.
If anyone can suggest where a comparison of workable solutions can be found
or knows anyone in the Carolinas or Georgia selling such a solution please
email me directly.
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks in advance.
