i solved that by adding small bits of taconite
into my white clay.
i controlled the speckle.
really nice look, and the pug mill works fine.
i call it: mel's speckled porcelain,
very unique. my god, my own voice.
sometimes you have to adjust to the tool.
( i know, i will fry in porcelain hell.)
