? Virginia Kyanite converts to Mullite in a very narrow range of 1250 c =3D
to 1450 c, a temperature much lower than either Andalucite or =3D
Sillimanite.

Sillimanite was/is used to produce kiln shelves that are mostly used in =3D
electric kilns. =3D20

The original Mullite was produced on THe Isle of Mull. Production of =3D
Mullite stopped many years ago. What industry uses now is a Kyanite=3D20

product that is mined in Virginia. =3D20
