hand-made or mass produced?

updated sat 25 aug 12

I will guess 'Hand Made'...and, out of some Continuing Ed or 'Pottery 101'
Community College
setting...probably some Nephew or Neice of years back, sent it as a you
know, 'Christmas' or 'Birthday' Present ( but, sent it to him, or to her? O=
r
to both? )

Might be sihned on the Bottom, like "Buffy - 1979" or something.

Probably weighed a pound-and-a-half, and, had a very 'thick' bottom and
robust side-walls and a thick Handle ( which Handle must have been very wel=
l
attached ).

May well have been 'Mother-in-Law Blue' also.

Then too, an eighty year old Guy might well have a Skull which is about as
stout and resillient as say one of those picked clean Thanksgiving Turkey
Carcases sitting on the Counter however many days after, waiting to be made
into Soup Stock, so...

Are they going to release any images of the Murder Weapon Mug?

Once the Trial begins, ( if there is one ) the Mug would have to be Tagged
as
"Exhibit A" I think...

Well, at least the old Gal was, ahem, 'Creative', ( or maybe it was just a
spur-of-the-moment expedient? ) far as that went...not the usual Fire Poker
or Tire Iron or Golf Club or Sad Iron or Rolling Pin, anyway.

She is accused of killing her husband by beating him to death with a coffee
mug at the couple's home in the Woodland Hills section of Los Angeles.

Goodman is well known in tennis circles and was preparing to serve as a

Next thing you know the liberal media will be calling for a coffee mug ban.

Hi Lori,

But it does lend weight to Mr. Frank Zappa's statement that though
hydrogen is the most common element in the universe, stupidity is the
second most common element. Yup.

best wishes,

I always think of heavy pottery something like this:

"That's a dandy, 'I knock you out!' mug."
