for years i recycled clay in plaster tubs.
i oiled a plastic bushel basket....mixed plaster to half fill.
i then placed a 5 gallon pail filled with sand to displace the
plaster to the top of the basket.
let dry...split apart...and bingo...a really nice `big` dryer.
fill with sloppy clay til it is ready to wedge.
had about 15 of these in the class room....kids would dump the slop from
their wheels into these plaster buckets...two days later....new clay.

Better yet, line those plaster bats with canvas, when the clay is ready to
wedge just lift it out, & no worrys about plaster contamanition. Joy in Tucson
