Hello Clayarters

Do any of you can kindly share a recipe for
^6 to ^8 slip casting porclain clay body.
I have an access to EPK and Grolleg.
Recipe that is based on each of them will be
more than wellcome.

Try this:
Use at least 15-20 flint to make glaze fit easier.
Use as much kaolin as possible for good mold release
and green strength.
Use enough feldspar to acheive the maturity you want.
You could start with 20 flint, 40 feldspar, and 20 of
each kaolin. Test fire and increase the feldspar at the
the expense of kaolins to make it more vitreous or vice
versa if less.
Learn the principles of deflocculation, thixotrophy
and specific gravity to mix the slip properly, the best
powder recipe in the world is only half the battle.
