Does anyone know where you can purchase burner parts-ie. burner housing,
solenoids, thermocouples, pilots, gauges etc. so one could make their own
natural draft venturi burners. Thanks

>Don Curtis, I have found that most Propane suppliers have everything you
mention.with the possible exception of the " burner housing" often
constructed of 2" iron pipe with appropriate reducers, etc. They usually
sell the "Tiger" Propane torch. Welder or furnace suppliers also stock many
of these items. Don M.

Don,
Give Marc Ward a call at Ward Burner. He frequents this list, too,
so you will probably hear from him. Good service, too. Phone
number is 423/397-2914.
I would recommend using commercially made burner bodies and
adding safety and control devices. Burners constructed (rigged)
from plain black pipe tend to be inefficient at best and produce
unknown BTU ratings. The money you spend on commersh burners
will be recouped through gas savings and control. My personal
favorites are Eclipse, which always seem to be under rated by the
factory.
