edmonton fireworks 98 update

updated mon 16 feb 98

ret on sun 15 feb 98

The web page has now been updated and details re fees, accomodation, etc.
are listed at http://www.extension.ualberta.ca/finearts/fireworks.

The brochure should be mailed early next week.

If you are not on the mailing list,
You can also email finearts@ualberta.ca to register or call
403 492-3034 or 403 492-3093

The registration in the Kilnbuilding course will probably have to be
limited
for logistical reasons, and it will be "first-come first-enrolled". I
would suspect the class will fill up rather soon. Bring bisques pots for
the firing! If there is space in the kiln, participants in the
main Fireworks Symposium
may also get a small pot into the kiln. Everybody is invited to the
kiln-opening at the end of the Symposium.

We are trying to provide billeting for the duration of the
Symposium/kilnbuilding workshop, but
again, if you need it, please contact Linda Lewis 403-438-1614 or me
asap. I'm not sure how many hosts we can get lined up.
In case we run out of space, bringing your own foamies and sleeping bags
will come in handy.

Hope to see many of you soon!
