I have used Richard Zakin's Mexico Point Green glaze also and had the same
discoloration problem. I e-mailed him to inquire about the problem. He was
unaware that this glaze discolored and suggested retesting the glaze with a
few changes. The new tests still discolored. I use a white stoneware so the
problem shouldn't be in the clay. At the time (Spring 1997), he was having to
deal with his ill elderly parents and I didn't want to bother him any further.
