A friend will be moving to ATL after graduation in May and needs a place
to get in the clay. Any info on classes, etc. in the area is
appreciated.

Thanks.

Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side, a dark side, and holds
the universe together.

In addition to those there is West Side Arts District, Castleberry Hill are=
a
and Decatur. I think John gave you the main ones with a clay emphasis. Ther=
e
is also Seen Gallery. http://www.theseengallery.com/ There are a lot more
that I can't recall at the moment. The problem with Atlanta is that there i=
s
no "One" arts district but there are a good many galleries. Check the Carlo=
s
Museum at Emory as well as the High.

Good suggestions, John. Mudfire is in Decatur and has a nice gallery. =3D
The Seen Gallery is also in Decatur, along with a lot of good =3D
restaurants and shops. Also, think about the Michael C. Carlos Museum =3D
at Emory University. They have a fabulous Pre-Columbian collection (a =3D
large part of which was donated by my brother-in-law's family). =3D20

Have fun,
Lori L.
