A while back one of the list members gave his web page and had Castaneda
info on it. It was one of the urls I lost in the big clean up. Anyway, if
that person is still around or anyone has that url, could you please post
it? Thanks.
About the Lasse Ostman glaze that I posted the recipe for - I know that
according to the computer analysis that Ron did, this glaze is supposed to
craze. However, it hasn't yet and one of the tiles has been outside in the
snow and thaw for over a month and looks good. Also, in my last firing,
which went to a full 7, the glaze fired a bit differently. This time it has
a lot of visual texture and was really quite nice.

i have had about 5 questions regarding the `clayart hospitality room` at
\nceca....all is a go.. the room is rented and payed for....all we need is a
whole gang of people to use it./ please do not send me money...we will
take care of that during nceca...and it will be easy....
make a mug or small pot to bring with you.....and we will have the
exchange....(at some point)
even veronica is talking about attending...jeez...all those canadians..
how can we handle the language barrier.?

The glaze S422 does not craze on most white or light grey stoneware and
porcelain clays.
It is best when it is rather thin. If you use it thick it can craze in the
bottom pool.
I fire it to between cone 7 and 10 for different results. Best on white
porcelain.
There are some examples on my site: http://www.barra.se/stoneware
