Sorry if this is redundant or has appeared before..I admit I'm a
cyberditz...mea culpa.
Need info from anyone with first hand experience with a HVLP spray gun
manufactured by Central Pneumatics and distributed by Harbor Freight...HF
has nation wide catalog sales, but I saw one of these at a local retail
outlet. It is full sized, appears well constructed of black
polymer/plastic(reservior,too), has an attachment for air source designed
specifically for a vacuum cleaner hose (no other fitting), claims to work
on 4 psi, cost $26.99. Store clerks are not well informed: "Duh, I guess
it works ok." Off list communication suggests a cautionary approach as
vacuum cleaners don't generate even 4 psi. I'm going to try and research
this more with the company, but in the mean time...what say you keepers of
the clayart wisdom? Is this too good to be true? Have the Chinese
reinvented physics? If anyone wants to pursue this solo, email me for the
24/7 800 #. Thank you all that I have contacted for your help.

My only advice would be don't buy anything from Harbor Freight. I have
learned the hard way. Luckily, they will take back anything but don't
really seem to care if you are happy or not.

I'll second Linda's advice! After trying them for several different
products, the ONLY thing I've ever kept was a small anvil. (hard to scew
those up!)
