There have been several queries in to the value of attending CERMAtech
98.
My wife and I operate a small plant manufacturing ceramic giftware and
have struggled for a number of years to connect with the appropriate
suppliers of equipment and supplies.
Because our backgrounds are diverse (Art/Civil Eng.) we knew little or
nothing of the clay world.
CERMAtech 97 in Baltimore was the first show/convention we have attended
that enabled us to talk to suppliers, manufacturers and others who
amazingly enough had gone through similar learning curves years before,
but still had the patience to listen and advise intelligently.
We advised the convenors of the Show that we would attend next year and
to put us on their mailing list.
The show is a must for us, regarless of where it is, and will never be
missed.
