compressing fiber lessens efficiency (true)

First, I must say I've been shocked by the insulting manner in which a
number of Clayarters have responded to Marshall Talbott's brief posting
Sunday in regard to the fact that compressing fiber compromises it's "R"
value. Talbott (out of the goodness of his heart) was merely sharing
information from a posting that I made elsewhere.

"The homework" (hard science) HAS been done on this subject, we're in full
possession of the facts. The statement made was absolutely true. This
information has been compiled, summarized, and is being sent by direct
e-mail to those folks who bombasted Talbott.

Anyone else who would like to read through this technical information is
welcome to contact me directly and I'll send it to you, as well.
