SORRY ABOUT WORD WRAP PROBLEMS THIS
NEEDS TO BE POSTED AGAIN MY FAULT!
Hey all you cone sixers: I am looking
for a few tried and true cone six glazes
you actually use. I'm working in white
cone 6 porcelain, buff and red stonewares.
I'm doing pottery in an electric kiln.
I know where all the books and online
databases are already. I have created
several glazes using Hyperglaze and
have many recipes. I'm looking for
your personal "classics", something
you might like to see me try. Right
now I am layering 4-5 simple cost-
conscious glazes but I'd working on
getting a palette of 6-7 complete
glazes with distinct coloration and
surface qualities ideal for dipping,
wax resist and trailing on. NO LEADDED
FRITS, NO ALBANY, NO CHROME. If you
want to reply directly instead of
posting to rec.crafts.pottery, that
is fine. Eric Hansen, Lawrence, Kansas.
Fresh powder outside - winter at last!
NO EXCESSIVE ANALYSIS OR COMMENTARY
IS NECESSARY ON THIS THREAD FOR MY
BENEFIT I ALREADY HAVE THE SoFTWARE
I NEED TO DO THAT.
