I've been writing a web page for my pottery and am having a problem with
MS Access. I'd very much appreciate any help----it's not real complex
for someone versed in Access.
In my database the first field is the pot number and the entry in that
field is a four digit number, say abcd. Later in the database I need to
describe the path to the image file and the path to the thumbnail of the
image file and I'd like for the database to automatically insert
"abcd.jpg" at the end of the path to the image file and "abcdt.jpg" at
the end of the path to the thumbnail ( the t stands for thumbnail).
(abcd.jpg and abcdt.jpg are the names of the 2 image files associated
with each piece). I seem unable to describe this information so that
Access understands.
