Laguna has a cone 6 "semi clear" matt that shows good detail of underglazes
for me- might be worth trying.

my experience with Laguna MS-67 clear matte has been fine except that it
turned Amaco's maroon underglaze lavendar ! Could it have been to thick an
application of matte or just some interaction of the glaze and the u-glaze ?
