If the thought of a truly Rube Goldberg device intrigues you.... make the
press using the power steering pump and dryer motor as Bjorn suggests, WITH
the addition of the power steering cylinder as the ram, AND use the
steering box with a wheel or crank to raise and lower the piston on the
mold. You're basically using the entire steering assembly, with exception
of the dryer ( or other ) motor. Cheap, recycled and it works.......but
ugly.
