Fellow Clayarters:
I recently enrolled in a one day workshop to be held on May 9 at the VA
Museum. There are still some spaces available in case some of you are
interested.
As described in the Museum's Spring Art Classes catalog:
" Pottery: Variations in Wheel Throwing
In this one day workshop, potter and educator Don Davis will demonstrate his
superb throwing techniques, present a slide lecture of his work, discuss
engobe and glaze formulation, and talk about some of the works in the Virginia
Museum's pottery collection. If time allows, individual critiques will be
provided. Pottery students at all skill levels of wheel throwing will benefit
from this workshop.
