Yes, the inside of the Pacifica foot pedal is embarressingly empty.
The magnet came unglued on mine.
Rather than just glue it back I decided to call Laguna so I wouldn't
get glue on a wrong surface, use the wrong kind of glue, etc.
They were happy to tell me what to do.
Their attitude is that if it is a minor repair you can do yourself, then
go for it, and don't ship it to them.
