------------------
just came back from san antonio last night. i went for the exhibit
=22O'Keefe and Texas=22 at McNay museum. (the exhibit closes today.)
a very well organized display. i bagan to appreciate some of her
paintings. now, i think i should plan to visit O'Keefe museum, santa fe.
spent a few hours in the sat. afternoon at the botanical garden. was
the garden sale day. gorgious weather, flowers, floweres, and TX
wild floweres everywhere.
friday night when i got there, i went to the 1st friday nite gallery

openings at the blue star art (or gallery?) complex. was fun. lots
of free food, amazing. ceramics i saw there were more of gift shop
type with plenty of mexican flavours.
so, this is my inquiry. (anybody in SA area, help me.) did i miss
some galleries at the blue star complex that carry clayworks?
or, where else in the city do i find other galleries (serious/
pretentious included)?
btw, my friend took me to the central market at alamo heights.
a very impressive glocery market. and again, lots of free
tasting samples.

Yes, try the Southwest Craft Center (in the phone book), they
have a very interesting place, lots of ceramics. Blue Star
generally does not do much with ceramics, at least, didn't used
to. There are several sales galleries for ceramics along the
River walk, and in Las Villitas. Some serious, some not, some
commercial, some not...some pink and turquoise, some not.
