rolling hills of Hunterdon county, New Jersey, the studio currently produces
a broad range of exquisite porcelain bas-relief tile, sculpture and
giftware. The position entails slip casting, dry and wet finishing, kiln
loading/firing, use of a Ram press and various other handtools. Excellent
hand skills are a must as is attention to detail, organization and the

Sierra Nevada College Summer Visiting Artist Workshop Program is currently
seeking a Resident Art Assistant for the summer of 1999, June 10th - August =
7th.
We are located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe on mountainous beautiful
terrain. The assistant will reside on campus and work as a lab tech. for =
the
ceramic workshops. The compensation will be =241500.00 and free housing for=
the
summer. Applicants must have experience mixing clay and glazes, as well as
loading and firing kilns. Hours will vary, but there will be some time to =
work
in clay and enjoy the workshops as well. The ceramic workshops this summer =

Clay Instructors and Marketing Manager

Clay Instructor, part-time
Job Description: Teach YMCA summer camps for children from 5-12 years old
and after school programs. The teaching job may extend to a long term
position.
Location: 1155 S. De Anza Blvd., San Jose, CA 95129 (west San Jose near

Requirement: Instructors need to have experience with clay materials and
know techniques of hand-building as well as using a pottery wheel. Must be
patient with children.
Teaching Hours: Hours are based on business needs. Regular classes will be
