I am currently busy with my fourth year, B Tech degree in Ceramic design at
the Vaal Triangle Technikon in South Africa. My research deals with the
impact and effectiveness of the Jigger and Jolly to small scale ceramic
businesses in order to minimise profit variations and therefore increase
long-term profitability. My research contain a questionnaire which help to
investigate ceramist attitudes, perceptions and management responses to new
technology like the Jigger and Jolly to increase profatability.
Due to a lack of published information about these processes as well as
the occurrence of very little establishments in South Africa I am looking
to find ceramists in South Africa and from the International community to
partake in the research. I'm therefore looking for people with or without
a Jigger and Jolly that will be willing to fill in a questionnaire.
