I suspect this has been covered but does anyone know if there are
injet refill kits available that contain ink that employs ceramic
stains. I'd like to make some decals and transfers that way.

Tony, here at Shippensburg University, we just had a digital artists
exhibit which I installed. Peter Patchen integrates digital art with some
new/old pottery shards which have digital images "fired" into them. How
he does this is by a laser (NOT inkjet) jet printer, somehow burnishes the
design in (I forget how, I'll ask him and let you know) and then the
design is on the pot. He said that laser jet ink has iron in it, so when
he fires (cone 06) the iron remains (he goes through reduction). Very,
Very unusual pieces. If you want, I'll get even more details on this for
you.
hope this helps!

I'd also be interested to know what you find out. Also interested to know
what came of the "sig" made from the clay collected from your filters.
