Well, all this talk about plaster and sharing and I can only think, well,
what if what you have to share is against the current grain and whenever
you spout about it the voice of righteousness booms or mutters many short
anglo saxon epithets about stupidity.......

So, here it is again, Eleanora's EZ Breezy Plaster Formula:

BY VOLUME: 3 units of FRESH pottery plaster added to 2 units of H2O = 3
units of mixed plaster ready to pour.

1) Estimate your volume
2) That is the amount of plaster you use
3) 2/3 that amount is the amount of water you use
4) Dump plaster into water and stir thoroughly
5) Pour

It works. It was explained to me why it works but I can't remember. This
is casting plaster for English majors and take it if you wish or leave it
be. But do not complain to me about it.

I have used this method for years. Stumbled on it accidentally when it
became obvious in my notes that the volume desired always matched the
volume of plaster. My molds work splendidly and last far longer than I
read is possible......100 castings per mold? Pshaw!
