Randy, first and foremost don't go any where near it, I can only image what it
did with the rest of the cabin.

There have been several sightings of lone fire places, stone or brick, roaming
the hills of the Appilacian Mountains and other remote rural areas. Such
sightings are rare but the fire places should be considered dangerous.

Typically they do not travel in packs. Do not be fooled by thier slumbering,
inanimate, demeaner. These fire places have been known to devour entire houses,
and in their feeding frenzy they may take down the humans living in the houses
as well.

Again, use extreme caution. If you should run in to it again, slowly back away,
do not, I repeat, do not turn and run. They can smell fear...
