Try firing your biscuit to the same temperature or possibly even a cone =
higher
than your glaze temperature. Also, if the design of the work allows it, =
leave a
generous foot of unglazed clay as part of the piece. Earthenware clays will
usually out gas along the path of least resistance. You may also wish to =
give
your glaze firing a short soak (20 - 30 minutes) at the end of the firing to
allow the pinholes to heal over.
