I still have some openings in the Cynthia Bringle demonstration style
Workshop on May 2 & 3 at the Artworks in Ephrata, PA. Cynthia will
demonstrate from 10 am to 4 pm each day. Cost of the workshop is $135.
At 6:30 pm Saturday, Bringle will give a slide presentation, which will be
followed by the "Sneak Preview" opening of the Strictly Functional Pottery
National. Workshop participants will receive an admission to these evening
activities. (Tickets at the door will be $20, while advance tickets are
$15.)
About the SFPN (Strictly Functional...)-- we had 1086 pieces entered, and
Cynthia selected 96 to be shown. One has been withdrawn since it was
selected. After looking over the slides and the black and white
photographs, I can hardly wait to open those boxes which are stacking up
high in an empty studio. It promises to be an exciting, colorful, varied
exhibit! And, workshop participants will see it FIRST, before the preview,
(but they won't be able to purchase until the exhibit opens Saturday
evening.)
