Hi Folks;
About 2 years ago I saved a note to Clayart from Ed Pierce about a publication
of the Arizona Archaeological and Historical Society. It was a volume of its
journal KIVA first published in the fall of 1994 titled The Pottery and
Potters of Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua. This February I was given a Mata Ortiiz pot
as an anniversary gift which finally pushed me to send for it. For all
interested in this pottery, I too recommend it. It was so popular that the AAH
Society republished it last fall , so it is still available. The costs: 1-5
copies $6 each+ $4 s&h : 6-20 copies $6 each+$6 s&h : 21-50 copies $6+$8 s&h.
