several years ago I offered a glaze of the week on an informal listserv,
glazeart
I would once again like to offer this service
to subscribe send me your e-mail address
a new glaze shall be posted each week by e-mail.
hard copies will be collected and offered as glaze handbooks over the next
several years.
comments about each glaze and individual experiences will also be collected.

we now have over 300 members of the glaze of the week listserv.
I have been sending out 2 or 3 glazes each week and they focus on cone 04,
cone 5-6, cone 8-10 or raku.
if you are interested in joining please send me an e-mail message also if
you tried to join and for some reason have not received your glazes please
contact me, I have had about 10 returns or bad e-mail addresses so far.

We are now in our 15 th. week and our collection of glazes continues to
grow. I hope that we will have a good book ready after the full 100
weekss of this project.

I have become aware of some problems with my weekly glaze network such as
address which do not work and a number of potters have not been able to
get on the network.
If anyone has tried and failed to get on the list I now have a new system
which I hope will work better.
I am now open to new mamber or to regain those who were not able to get
on this list.

my two listservs are now very active, the glaze of the week has more then
800 members and grows each day.
drawing and thought of the day is an electronic artist's book and
journal in which I record my thought and quotes to accompany each of the
computer based drawing that use various fractal methods. this is for
those who have ibm and the internet explore of microsoft, it wont really
work for mac users. files are attached as word documents and as html
documents.
the images can be downooaded and can be freely used for web sites etc.

joan miro
we hope to continue with this plan to feature the glazes from a different

The Glaze of the week is a good idea many of the Clayarters are often =
talking
glazes and I'm sure there will be a lot of interest,,,, but please make the
materials as universaly understandable as possible eg., no EPK and XYZ =
etc.etc.
,,please spell the name out flint or silica is what it is not a number ..
Look forward to the Formula's need many in the cone 05 .04. range to save =
fuel.

subscribe. I am interested in the glazes of j,. llorens artigas, as I
just met his son Gardy Artigas, a great man, and saw slides of his
father's work. Can someone fill me in on the Glaze of the Week.
