Hello folks,
If anyone has a minute to send me the latest update on barium and its health
hazards I would be greatful. Any kind of information on leaching, dangers to
me working with it in powder form, substitutions, percentages, etc. would be
so very helpful. Forward email to Nermal3@aol.com.
Thanks!

For some solid data on Barium in typical high-fire glazes try to find
Janet De Boos of Australia, her article on research she is doing in this
area of glazes. It appeared in the Oz publication "Ceramics Technical #3"
which appeared last year (Pub issues 4x yrly).
