I work in low fire white clay I use
commercial underglazes and glazes.
Sometimes I actually get paid for this.
Of course things seem to go wrong when
it's a commission. Anyway after finish-
ing a platter it almost looked as though
I didn't use any glaze, Amaco suggested
refiring at cone 04, this did nothing
except wash out some of the color.
The question is: can I reapply the
clear glaze {how many coats} and at
what cone? Inspite of all the frustra-
tions I think everyday how lucky I am
to love working with clay.
