Need some help to get started in the right direction. Want a Cone 6 glossy
ALMOND colored glaze. Have a good clear, glossy, food safe glaze and several
different whites and am still testing yellows. Am going to order some of that
Ceradac stain that David Hendley recommended. Don't know where to start, even
after reading all my glaze books. Would Titanium or Zinc additions work?
Would like to stay away from Manganese and all its problems.

Am working on a Floating Green. That has had some real strange(not good)
results.

My own clear, cone 6, glossy, food safe glaze over
a tan/buff stoneware, results in a wonderful almond
color. This same clear, on white stoneware, is the
brightest white, yet. Final colors change depending
upon the clay used.

I prefer experimenting with clays and maintaining
the one perfect, clear glaze...

Would you be willing to share your recipe? I'm just starting to do cone
6 electric stoneware and need all the help I can get.

Anyone else have great looking glaze recipes? Any that would give an
ash-glaze effect?
