For those of you who are still looking for a summer workshop. I
checked with continuing education and they told me that both
of the following workshops still have openings.

Both Ms. Daw and Ms. Cliffel are yong energetic artists and have
been recognized for their work in clay. See American Ceramics and
Ceramics Monthly for articles on them. Information is as follows.

Session #1

Discovering and developing personal iconography

Instructor: Kristen Cliffel

Two weeks, June 1-12th

Open to all levels

All basic handbuilding techniques taught.

Kris ia a great teacher and does large scale work

with gender role and urban content.



Session #2



Tableware and Majolica, A throwing and glazie workshop

Instructor Deirdre Daw (NEA endowment award)

two weeks, June 15-26th

Begining and advanced students
