My husband and I are traveling to Alaska June and July. Any comments on
routes, must see places would be appreciated. We have a small camper on
a Toyota cab. I think there is a Buffet line about " fast enough to get
there but slow enought to see.... " We will be going real slow on those
mountain roads !!
As a mostly lurker I need to say how much I have enjoyed Clayart. You'd
be surprised how timely some of the discussions have been - answered
questions I was just getting around to asking myself - great ideas and
lots of food for thought.

After reading some of your commments about how words in cyberspace can
lose some of the intended meaning because they are not delivered with the
nonverbal cues we are used to using to help interpret, I recieved an
e-mail message from a friend in Australia. While it is wonderful to
finally get a link between us that is affordable and won't be waking up
one or the other party in the middle of the night because of a
miscalculation of the time difference, I found that I really miss
hearing the voice, the accent, and seeing the grin ) that goes with the
words!! We forget sometimes how much meaning we take form the body
language, facial expression, and tone of voice when we communicate face
to face. Of course sometimes we missread those cues too!!.

enjoying the "crazy crazy month of May" ( Awards banquets for my jr. and
sr.students , big party for my preschool program , graduation for my son,
and a long trip to Alaska as soon as school is out !
