I would appreciate it very much if you would forward this information
to any and all interested parties. Even though these are not ceramics
positions we are looking for the best qualified candidates. Please e-mail
directly for further information:

1st position - Art,Montgomery College/
Rockville,2201--Masters in Art or equivalent masters level degree and ability
to teach college-level art foundation classes required. MFA in Art and
community college teaching experience preferred. Duties and
responsibilities include coordinating design, drawing or color, programs,
teaching courses in drawing, design and color, and typical college, campus
and department duties including, but not limited to, advising,
recruitment, and committee assignments.


2nd Position -Art, Montgomery College/ Rockville, 2197-
-Masters in Art or equivalent masters level degree and ability to teach
college-level printmaking and art foundation classes and to coordinate
printmaking program and studio required. MFA in Printmaking, computer
imaging skills and community college teaching experience preferred. Duties
and responsibilities include coordinating Printmaking Program and studio,
teaching,courses in lithography, intaglio, relief, serigraphy, drawing,
design and color, and typical college, campus and department duties
including, but not limited to advising, recruitment and committee
assignments.

General Requirements: All full-time faculty positions require a Masters
Degree in the discipline to be taught or a closely related discipline
unless otherwise specified. General criteria include evidence of teaching
excellence and commitment to the community college philosophy and mission.
Willingness and flexibility to teach day, evening, and weekend sections
are needed. The salary range is from approximately $30,000 to $45,000 plus
excellent benefits. Teaching assignments begin August 24, l998.
