At a show this past weekend I had a customer ask me to make her an aladdin's
type oil lamp. She said she has seen them made by other potters, but she has
several of my pieces and wants one to match. I have never seen one. Can anyone
give me a good description? It would be most appreciated.
Also, when I used to make oil lamps I used a product called Cinnamon Seal to
seal them. The company has apparently gone out of business. Is there another
good product out there or a formula to make my own sealer?
