Toni, I would love a spray bottle that would work and wouldn't clog
up, such as you describe, to do touch-ups on delicate glaze. What is
a Golden Products spray bottle? Is it strictly a South African thing?
U.S. Clayarters-- is there any hand-held spray bottle that can be
used to spray glaze for small jobs?

Hi Berry,
I am replying to Clayart as I am getting a lot of queries about this.
I specifically mentioned the kind of bottle I used because I was so
delighted that it worked. I am fairly certain that Golden Products
still operates in the US. It is one of those direct selling products
(like avon ladies???)Anyway the glaze must be thinner than you would
normally use it.
and I gave several coats, till the glaze on the article looked
slightly furry.
Also I kept shaking the bottle so the glaze would not settle and be
thick where the tube is at the bottom of the bottle.
I hope this works for all who have a need, it would feel good if that
ole neccesity thing was helping more than just me :)

I just picked up on the conversation about spray bottles. At the NCEA
Conference in San Diego someone had a booth where they were selling
pressurized spray bottles from Australia (I believe). I bought one and it
produces a superfine mist. It is a hand-held spray bottle where a separate
section on the bottom is used to pump up pressure on the inside of the
bottle. A friend also bought one at a beauty supply place. I could
imagine that the glaze would have to be thinned quite a bit, but I think the
bottle might have good applications for touch-ups or for highlighting
certain areas with glaze. I think it would be tedious to use it for all
purpose glaze applications though. Barbara
