Hi centa,

If you really have to, you can=21
This is what I do, if I really have to, even with leather hard to wet =
pots=3B

I fire in a electrical kiln and starts with all the plugs in, so that no
moisture can escape the kiln, remember the top=21

30 degrees celsius up to 90 degrees
Hold for 30 min.
30 degrees celsius up to 100 degrees
Take out all the plugs
Keep the temperature until all dampnes has escaped=21
This is checked by holding a mirror over one of the peepholes, if the mirror
=22fogs=22 up, it=B4s not ready yet=21 Takes a while but be patient, and =
when the mirror
stops to =22fog=22, you can proceed with your firering=21

This is how it was tought me, and I have never had any problems=21

Inge

Hi,
I was wondering if stuff that is not bone dry but just beyond the leather
hard stage can be candled for some period of time (?) before proceeding
with a firing schedule. ??

Thanks as usual,
Centa
