Hello everyone, I'll be in the San Francisco area (Fremont) from about July
26-31. Are there are any clay workshops, galleries, studios, or other
interesting places that you folks would recommend? My husband will be in a
seminar during the daytime, so I'm free to roam. Thanks.

I have tried unsuccessfully to send this information to the woman who asked
that information on Bay Area "clay attractions" be sent to her. The other
day I visited a wonderful shop that I wish I had found 4 years ago when I
first moved here.

This shop is on the second floor of the Kinokuniya Building and is located
in Japantown. The gentleman carries pottery from Hagi, Karatsu, Bezin and
other kilns. It is well worth the trip.
On the same floor is a book store which has a significant number of book on
Ceramics too.
Dont miss it if you are interested in Japanese ceramics.

Sylvia:
You might try tapping into this website. It provides you a lot of good
references about clay in the SF Bay Area.
