I have had good luck drying clay tiles by using Drywall board. I get all I
need from the local builders who have cut pieces left over. I score them and
make approx. 2 x 2 boards and lay the tiles on them. I stack several in a pile
alternating drywall then tile. Let them sit until bone dry and fire. Jim
