Hello,
I have converted a 12.5 cu ft propane kiln to n.gas. 4 burners
underneath the kiln are perpendicular to the floor of the kiln.
The on/off lever-type valve coming into the the burner ring from the
main line is the only regulatory valve with no valves on the individual
burners.
???: HOW TO REGULATE A SLOW INCREASE IN TEMPERATURE?
I have fired the kiln a couple of times, it will reach temperature
however too quickly. (Pots blowing up!!) The gas shuts off if the lever
on/off valve is below the 1/2 position thereby making it more difficult
for a slow increase.
Perhaps I simply need to turn the kiln into a great raku kiln!!!
Any help most appreciated. Jude --
