Hi Everyone,
Just got back from Canador College in North Bay, ON after taking Ron Roy's
Glaze Technology Workshop. . .next time Ron offers a weeklong glaze course,
walk, run, fly or swim to get to it!!!! Boy, Ron sure does know his stuff
and is able to pass on his knowledge in a warm, friendly and understandable
manner. (I've taken similar workshops in the past and nothing compares to
Ron's course.) Thank you Ron for helping to unravel the mysteries of glazes
and showing Tom and I how to formulate durable, safe glazes and fix our
glaze problems. The week was intense, fun, and went by quickly.
It was also fun to be at such a great school as Canador where the people are
there to make your stay enjoyable. . .thanks Joan Annadale and Keith
Campbell. The accommodations and food were great . . .We'll be back next year!!
To all my new potter friends we say hi and hope you enjoy the rest of the
summer.

P.S. I'm working on a new glaze to match my black n' blue eye!!!!

Ditto all Janet said! Francis and Tom (who aren't on Clayart) said
they'll vacation at workshops such as this one from now on... no more
boring trips to the beach. Of special value to me are the friendships
formed with the others taking the class. Can't assign any price tag to
relationships I hope will last a long, long time.
Thanks Ron, Keith, entire Canador staff!!

Aside from all the technical info, you have to attend the workshop to
find out about Ron's secret fetish!!!
(If you go in the summer bring mosquito repellent!)
